A solution is to repeal 17th amendment. Counterintuitive but it makes much harder for lobbyists to buy congress.

Lobbyists now just have to buy 51 senators for favorable legislation that applies across the land, very cost efficient.

Pre-17th amendment they would have to lobby the 3k odd reps across the different states which is a lot harder.

17th took out the structural element for states rights. Now states are just lackeys to the federal govt.

This really is an excellent video, what do you think of the group behind it? Their site looks slick but I've never heard of them before.
