Questions about how we go about development I think are great. Questions about how we reduce the impact of development on ecosystems are reasonable. Questions on how we improve the efficiency of our existing infrastructure to reduce the need to build more I think are reasonable.
Investing lock stock and barrel into efforts that aren’t feasible for an ROI on 99% of the planet is not. That’s not even factoring in the effect of the mines required to obtain the heavy metals for all the “Green” tech on the environment and people employed there. Nor the effects of construction of acres of solar panels and windmills
In the U.S we have rigorous standards to the point of bordering on ridiculous. Yet the long term Health attrition for miners being exposed to Heavy Metals, Chemicals, and coal dust is still fairly high.
Much of the world doesn’t have such standards. I’d imagine the attrition rates in other parts of the world are far higher. Nor does it factor in the confirmed reports of forced labor in said mines in Africa
Everything is going to be a red pill EVERYTHING.
I definitely think the 'eat mor crickets' thing is moving the needle to the Right for a lot of people.
This is a very low hanging pill. As we experience this Eddy Minnimum the science will be evident. It's not you. It's the sun.
Needs to be, it's about time us conservatives take control of the environmental policies.
Big thing we need to target is killing off the CAFE rules.

Apocalypse investors are pushing fake climate solutions on us that are making climate change worse.
