I guess my point is that is it still worth it to try to wake people up even when we know they're not going to listen and will do anything it takes to maintain their cognitive dissonance? Lots of biblical precedent gets me thinking about this on a daily basis.
It's because they will get desperate and as more truth emerges they will be more and more wrong. Will many if them go to their grave denying? Yes...but when their friends end up in their Graves early the question will start creeping on them and when it does their trust in the establishment will fail rapidly. I cannot tell you how often I run into sudden health issues from people in daily conversations. It's shocking. People eventually will start realizing.
