Because it's usually so lame, they need to hype it up. It's a sign of the times... non-contributing zeros always make a huge deal out of doing even the smallest thing anymore. What was just par for the course by our grandparents, is now some big feat to these millennials. Looking for credit for wiping their asses properly.
