Extremely easy to grow yourself. Ginger does well too, but it can get away from you and keep expanding. Both have very positive benefits. There is a place in south east San Francisco Bay area that has a big garlic festival every year. I can't remember the name, but supposedly is a large supplier to most places in the country. There was some speculation that they were importing Chinese garlic and passing it off as US grown, but I don't have any sauce on that. Simply easier to just grow it yourself.
Just be sure the Garlic is Product of USA. A lot of garlic comes from Chyna.
