No, it's not the lack of straight white males under 60, that's been a thing. No, I'm seeing a ton of "California Closets" commercials where your dwelling is made up of hideaway beds and desks, etc. And then I'm seeing a completely different company selling something else and the couple gets out of a...hideaway fold up bed. Setting the mental stage slaves. Stay in your small cubicles while the elites get acres and acres of land to see you coming 20 miles away.

Yes, like the sudden boom of the 'tiny home' trend. Getting sheep used to their stalls.
Tiny Homes was on while I was at an oil change, yesterday. I get minimalism and actually try to live by that principle-- however, sharing 240 square feet with someone is not something I would find enjoyable. A loft bed is fun until it isn't... and then what?
Nope! I have a 1365sf house on an acre of land— at times there was 4 people-3 dogs and two cats — close but doable— currently 2 adults and 3 dogs- plenty of room— I never saw the need for 2500-3500sf or more unless you have 7-8 kids— more to clean and heat and cool— the mini mansion is almost as stupid as the tiny house ( also stupid)
Ha! I'm just thinking about how terrible it would be in there after sharing a pot of ham n' beans.
