Nephew was a good soul - was a marine - got a chicken dinner for smoking weed about 10 years ago- made it through everything- anyways none of that matters now. He struggled to get straight- He always struggled with low self esteem even as a young child - his father didn’t help. I’m asking for prayers for my sister- she lost her husband May 2022 - now found her son dead in his room. He was 38. I can’t even cry- this is my second nephew these drug cartels have taken. I’m tired of the open borders- I’m tired of the lack of faith in God -I’m tired of the immense amount of evil in this world. Don’t pray for me - I ask for quick prayers for my sister Kathleen to get through this- she was just starting to come out of the doldrums of her husband dying in May 2022. - he had dementia and (mysteriously) all his organs shut down & Alzheimer’s went from 18 years to 18 months. Anyways now Im Starting 2023 with another fucking funeral!! WTF - this will be a mix of fentanyl or something. My husband recently started watching El Chapo series & is now awakened to our government corruption- highly recommend if you have conservative family that don’t believe the conspiracy theories- this could push them over the edge. My husband (longtime Republican) now sees our government is totally corrupt - always thought I went left to way extreme right lol.Anyways pray for my sister & pray for her faith - she really really needs it.
Pedes ..my nephew 38 years old died of an overdose today 🥲

I have over 2 millions miles without an accident. I can tell you this. 99% of people that drive a vehicle are unfit to drive.
They should have their license yanked.
Police, fire rescue, medical response included.
They are all morons that have no understanding of defensive driving.
When you drive a piece of machine that weighs over 4k pounds and casually go about your day?
You are a very dangerous person.
A person so out of control?
Might as well as been on a drug induced bender for last 2 weeks.
Totally agree. My husband and I are very active pedestrians as we walk our dog 2 times a day. We've both had a few close calls with people turning and not looking, and with red light runners. Also, 25 MPH does not seem very fast in a car, but it sure as heck is fast when you are a pedestrian.
Salt Lake City recently made major improvements to this intersection. It is one of those rare times when I can say the city most definitely did NOT screw up. With the visibility and improved crosswalk relining, I am dumbfounded how this tragedy could have happened, and chalk it up to driver irresponsibility.
