It probably isn't the event referred to I accept. Personally I am not expecting a big event of truth&reconciliation, but more of a slow change, choice to know will be yours and not common knowledge for years. I have considered your scenario also and it could happen as a gambit, to me it is a 1% possibility. Reality is usually more mundane.
