Pet stores need to be shut down. Puppy farms putting out unhealthy 5 to 6 thousand dollar dogs and they wonder why sales are down. You will never beat the love given to you from a shelter dog.

400 bucks is about the going rate at a shelter, puppies more. It costs the shelter more than that for spay/neuter, shots, medical care to get healthy and general costs of them being in the shelter for time. You may get a sick one from time to time in a shelter but they try so hard on a limited budget.
