Buffalo, the second-largest city in the US state of New York, was shaken by a 3.8-magnitude earthquake on Monday. The tremor was the most powerful in the area for four decades but did not cause any material damage, local authorities said.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), nearly 3,000 local residents felt the quake, which occurred at about 6:15am. It struck 1.24 miles (2km) east-northeast of West Seneca, a suburb of Buffalo, with a depth of 1.86 miles (3km).

Can you really say with great certainty that there are no flooded tunnels in that area, one that can possibly reach the ocean?
Sure you can say it with confidence, but can you say it with certainty? Without irrefutable evidence, I consider all things plausible. Do you have irrefutable evidence?
No. I have common sense and lived in that area for a few years. The Finger Lakes are so far in-land from any ocean that it would be implausible to put a "hidden sub base with ocean access" in that area when there are so many better places for them. They would have to tunnel hundreds of miles under the Catskills to the Hudson or worse, hundreds more under the Adirondacks through Vermont, NH, and Maine. WHY? This isn't James Bond villain shit. Flooded tunnels to the Great Lakes....maybe? To a secret air base? Maybe. Think critically, for the love of God.
