Another dam that is in big trouble is the Afrin Dam on lake Maydanki in NW Syria. It is an earth-filled hydroelectric dam 240 foot tall which provides drinking water for about 200,000 people in Aleppo along with crop irrigation and electrical power for the region.

Apparently it also has large cracks which formed due to the earthquake.
