Thanks for the input. I’ve always been fascinated by the history of the Templars but TBH, my knowledge is rudimentary at best and I find my imagination holding onto the pious, romanticized view of them. You know, protecting the Christian pilgrims to and from the Holy Land. Then the less romantic but poignant reality of managing the growing income to the point of holding vast wealths. Yada yada.. broke king, jealous pope, Friday the 13th. I need to read more. Lol
