If I was to hazard a guess I would say the alien chrysalis resident in her neck is entering the second trimester of gestation and is starting to convert Kamala's body into a liquid soup for easy consumption in a more grotesque and macro version of the life cycle of this gentle and adorable head-crab like, fungal mutant fucker !
