One of the problems here is that the KIng of Thailand and the Royal family have holdings in biomedical that is tied to some of the nefarious actors - not unlike many in the upper socioeconomic strata. An insurance policy for the elitists? We shall see if the Royal family in Thailand will allow this to move forward or will back down due to heavy international pressures. The princess was the next in line and she is in a coma. If the King is removed, then what? The line of succession in Thailand is not certain at the moment.
That could be a possibility. But, what I hear from people connected to the Royal family is that she is in a coma. So we shall see. Even if she is in a coma, she basically is dead.
The Royal Family are in denial, or at least the king is. She's brain dead and her body is connected to a machine that gives the impression that she's being kept alive somehow - but she isn't, she's dead and will never wake up. The only question is when it will be officially announced, current rumours are the end of this month.
That is true. There are reports that claim as you stated that she is in fact dead. There has been no official report to that however. They claim she is in a coma. Those I have heard that are in touch with the Royal Family say she is in a coma. So who really knows at this point. The bottom line is she is dead either way.
The Princess was the heir apparent and has been groomed for taking over from her father. So where they go from here is up in the air and that is also why this is being delayed. The prince looks like he is damaged in some way and not all there. He normally would be heir apparent, but Thai law was changed to allow Princesses to ascend to the throne. Now with the Princess gone, the Prince will take her place.

Small point to correct you on there, the princess isn't in a coma, she's dead and has been dead since she collapsed while out running in mid-December.
