yes, I had one at maybe on a good day at 500 feet, the legal limit, and this wasn't your grandfather's Oldsmobile type helicopter either in drab green.
Montana— we had a military convoy go through town today..(small town) and the missile tow got stuck on the railroad tracks— we know they’re on maneuvers ..they do it every year, but this time they had a ton of drones in the air.
It seems like the missiles silos getting to work over after the balloon situation.
Thank you for posting this question. I, too, have been using this website a few days, because I'm absolutely FED UP with the b.s. spraying going on. I want to know the call signs, and I want to either know where they are coming from, or where they are landing. However, with two air bases nearby, I'm learning that this website doesn't report on over half of the actual military air traffic going on. I can see them overhead, but when I check the map...nothing.
Is there an alternative I can use, to get this information when it happens?
I saw 5 military helicopters fly around our Stadium and basketball complex Thursday, then out to the west out of sight at Penn State, the I noticed a C5 some time later, flying in the same direction. It's very unusual to see military flights around here.
The Military can and does turn their trackers off.
Had the same happen with A10s today. 4 in formation. 300-400 feet. no transponders
Wow, nice catch. Bet that was loud!
