We have tablets and horse paste that we've been saving for a rainy day. Well, my husband and I have both come down with pretty bad head colds and I'm curious about trying ivermectin so I can recuperate over the weekend and be ready for Monday.
Has anyone here ever had a BAD experience with this stuff? Negative reactions or side effects?
There is a far better way to take ivermectin than the paste.
Get the ivomectin cattle injectible. It comes in a syringe bottle. You take 1 CC per 110 pounds of body weight. Draw up in a syringe and squirt is a small amount of juice, and down the hatch. I've never had a problem taking it. Old farmers and ranchers had been doing this for a long time.
I give the same product to my dogs to prevent hearworm. Their dose is 1/10th per 10 pounds body weight. Almost identical to the human dose per pound. Do not give it to Sheltie type dogs. It can kill or severly injure them.
