Eh, he’s a REALLY sore loser and tries to save face at every turn. There’s always some kind of smug “I am the smartest guy in the room” look on his face. To him, we all just lucked out. That “the science” was with him and his fellow clotties and we just stumbled into being maybe kinda generally near the truth.
