Unidentified flying objects certainly do exist, simple because anything in the air that you don't know really is a UFO, even if it turns out later to be a balloon or odd airplane. But I don't believe in spaceships from other planets with aliens in them.
do you understand why faster than light travel is impossible? its true you cannot break that speed propagating through this medium, but who says you have to travel that way?
conditions on earth are unique, but certainly not the only region capable of supporting life. life comes in many forms.
doesn't seem very scientific to come to a conclusion without conclusive evidence.
It's science. Such as from Einstein, who was a lot smarter than I am.
There are so many constraints necessary for a planet to form life of any type, such as how close the planet is to its sun to get the necessary energy, to be old enough to be cool enough, and more. Those are conditions put forward by a lot of scientists.
That formula claiming to predict millions of habitable planets was invented out of one man's head, and has no science behind it, just his "reasonable" assumptions. He pulled it out of his ass, and other scientists thought it was good.

why not?
Science. First, the conditions on earth are so unique. Second, other planets are too far away and faster-than-light travel is impossible.
Hasn't happened yet, unless you count a trailer park in Dumbass, GA. Never a landing where intelligent people live.

So I believe the evidence is very conclusive.
