Sorry for the misspelling. It's Bhopal. At my age, I don't always remember exactly events from 40 years ago. I also recalled it as a chlorine leak, and apparently wasn't wrong about that. Here's a news story from the time. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1985-04-02-mn-19328-story.html
