Just because you see a thick smoke cloud like from an apocalyptic movie, by burning toxic chemics in an uncontrolled burn due to train companies just trying to maximize profits, does not mean its not safe and effective. Scientists have said so. Shut up and breath in the fumes.
Pfizer gets to blame them on the died suddenlies in the US now. Then climate change can blow it over to other countries. Yay.
"Human actions are destroying our environment."
Show them the chemical burn
"Oh, no not that one. Only when you drive your cars"
We must have gotten "Chronic noticing disease"... thank god I'm a super spreader!!

Just one thing, focusing on the regulations that were being fought over doesn't matter in this case- the long-standing safety rules (i.e., STOP the train when the Hot Box exceeds a maximum safe temperature, for instance when it's ON FIRE) were MANUALLY OVERRIDDEN by administration. The focus here should be first on the decision-makers, and yes even the order-obeyers, because the derailment wasn't of normal cargo, and they all knew it.
