Whenever a big happening happens, so to speak, we get hypersensitive to news stories that continue along similar lines. We need some context on how often this happens. How many times a week/month/year and year over year stats to know if it may really be something we should laser focus on.

As one example, there are over 1000 derailments a year but solely because of the tragedy in Ohio we notice them.
