Not bad for Illinois. I live here and made sure I sent both my kids to Catholic primary and high schools. They both earned college degrees with very high grades. It was a financial sacrifice but well worth it. Obviously I agree with the voucher concept. Why can't a parent who chooses private school get a tax credit that is paid by the system anyway? The answer is clearly that teacher union members are greedy and lazy assholes.
