Is it just me or is "Died Suddenly" being replaced with "battle with a short illness"?
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
Last 3 obits I've seen have had variations of "short illness" or "sudden illness" as they try to de-amplify "died suddenly."
Anyone else seeing this?
Haven't noticed in particular, but that's due to my schedule - I believe it since many of you are confirming.
My honest question, which has niggled at me since the start, is why "they" used "died suddenly" in the first place. It's such a tidy, easy to exploit phrase.
If we're to believe Patriots Are Now In Control (and I do), perhaps this shift is another aspect of "The Noticing" normies and normie adjacents are meant to go through.
We've noticed this kind of doublethink, manipulative behavior for years, in almost everything written. Feels like if "they" pull back on, hide, and manipulate the term "died suddenly" now, it's because "they're " being forced to. It had a lot of traction with normies.

Well, these little rhetorical tricks they use do seem to work on people until they are memed into defeat. I’m not sure people even picked up on “died suddenly” right away, but only after the repetition and the highlighting pointed it out. There are probably other rhetorical tricks they are using on us right now that we haven’t even noticed yet. It’s a weird thing about effective rhetoric that it is often only obvious once it’s identified.
