I remember picking up "vidalia" onions out of Idaho, I know who would've thought. To bring back to none other than Vidalia GA. To sell off as they own. It was awful. Super sacks of onions, horrible winds, trying to tarp the load! Nightmare! I was was crawling along the top of the load on these onions trying to tarp the load. Bruises for days!
In case you don't know, to ride with onions you have to leave the front and back open to let wind get to them. It's a pain! So from Idaho to Vidalia GA was a nightmare. To say the least.
We get to the little bitty place to drop them with a 52 spread trailer . ( we had taken tires to a mine) . Nobody to help us. We start to untarp. Then roll up the 8 ft drop tarps ( pain in ass) at a so called Vidalia onion plant, with onions we just brought from Idaho! Go figure!!!! Never trusted Vidalia onions again!

I will grow my own onions this year. I will not buy BG Vidalias.
