Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an intergral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on it's evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Should this be posted as a separate post? I'm confused about what to post. It's not Q related, I see many post that aren't Q or GAW theme topics. thx
How much water do you drink? Water is the 2nd most vital element needed for life, which is why you can only survive a couple of weeks without water.
What coincidence I ordered Celtic Salt this week. Only to refill salt shakers didn't intend on learning about it.
I stumbled across great information and learned something about my body. This lady is full of knowledge. What get's me, doctor's took anatomy and physics of the body yet any doctor I've seen in fifty+ years has never said this. Everything I've learned from her would have helped with my health stuggles.

Link to her youtube channel and site. More great info. She runs health teaching retreats. It's not something I would do.

Honestly sometimes I don't understand why a comment like this is downvoted. Maybe because you told the truth. I appreciate your critiquing on my link post. I posted in the general chat few weeks asking what I was doing wrong. People were kind and basically sad it wasn't a problem. I encourage anyone to correct me as long they are nice about it, Thanks fren
I probably could've used a different word than critique. I do this a lot maybe because I have trouble typing what I'm thinking.
I sincerely appreciate you telling me how to do the link/text block. I saw one of my post today & was able to correct it. It's irritated me that I couldn't get it right. Thanks fren
Oh thank you so much, just watched the video. Gotta get me some Celtic salt. Where do you suggest I get it from?
Hi fren, FY: Celtic salt is a wet salt and overtime it may corrode metal in salt grinder. I'm taking a chance, I'm not over joyed with this brand.
This is the brand I ordered. Several sites have this brand. It is grey like the bag says. I've been trying to drink as she says. One cup every 15 minutes. It's not easy for me. i probably drink water too fast. For years if I was traveling or going to a concert I purposely drank less because I'm a frequent bathroom visitor.
I ordered from Amazon because I have a friend with a prime account. I'm seeing it at: iherb Swanson Health Target Walmart epvitamins vitacost
I've shopped at Vitacost a few times and no problems.
Thank you so much I can’t wait to try it. I’ve ordered from Vitacost several times well. I have Himalayan salt but I’m looking forward to trying it.
3 days without water and 30 days without food, depending on your fat reserve.
Very true!
