I read an interesting quote the other day, but I can't recall who said it. "With an armed society you will have an occasional tragedy, but with an unarmed society, you will have genocide."
Excellent quote. China, Cambodia, Germany and Rwanda comes to mind.
....Uganda, Ukraine, Poland, North Korea, Cambodia.... and the list goes on.
You got it. Long damn list.
This. Not my kids, either, so why should I care?
Well of course we can care, but we can't allow it to lead us to make bad overall decisions. There is a vast gulf between the emotional impact of a stupid shooting and the horrifying impact of genocide. And the Left would really like nothing better than to herd all of us into extermination camps.
We really do need those stories.
lies, damn lies, and statistics...
We should look up how many mass shooter is a legal conceal carried holder.

We don't have a gun problem, we have a problem with subhuman apes running amok in a society they weren't meant to exist in.
You are correct. If you compare Oregon and Idaho, you will see that right away. The more restrictive gun laws, the more shootings happen.
If her ending summary had been "We don't have to live like this. No other city or state in America does," it would point to local solutions. But her agenda dictates her observations.
Robert Reich has a narrative. If you click on the link below, you can go see others that she quoted.
