The Daily Mail article mentions the balloon circumnavigated the globe 6 times and stayed at 40,000 ft. I have so many questions because a lot of weather balloons go up to 100,000 ft, pop then fall back to earth...I don't think that they circumnavigate the globe at the same altitude as a lot of air traffic ...
