Here is my dialog regarding science and the vaccine and lockdowns where it just toes the mantra:
Me: But the vaccines and lockdowns have proven to be very harmful and supposedly science based which means science can be an agenda and not true
ChatGPT: It is important to distinguish between science itself and the way that science is communicated and used in society. The scientific method is a rigorous and evidence-based approach to understanding the natural world, and it is not inherently biased or agenda-driven. However, the scientific process can be influenced by external factors, such as political, economic, or social pressures, which may affect the interpretation or presentation of scientific findings.
In the case of vaccines and lockdowns, while there may be varying opinions and perspectives, the overwhelming scientific evidence supports the effectiveness and safety of vaccines in preventing and controlling infectious diseases, including COVID-19. Similarly, lockdowns and other public health measures have been shown to help slow the spread of the virus and reduce the burden on healthcare systems.
That being said, the implementation and communication of these measures can be influenced by a range of factors, including political and economic considerations, and may not always be optimal. It's important to critically evaluate information from a range of sources, including peer-reviewed scientific studies, public health experts, and reputable news outlets, in order to make informed decisions and support evidence-based policies.
I had a long career writing commercial software. Computers are not smart. They do not think for them selves. They can not do anything that they are not programed to do. Whatever results ChatGPT is spiting out it was programmed to spit out. Don't be fooled, computers can only come to the conclusions they are programed to come to.
My little test confirmed the bias of the programmers
