Long covid is an allergic reaction to spike proteins and most of the times taking anti-hystamines takes care of it. The mechanism is same whether its the virus or the vaccine, except with vaccine the number of spikes in your body is orders of magnitude largers, and tends to be in all parts of your body, hence the prevalance of "long covid" amongst jabbed and especially boosted.
