Agree, and neither has terrain theory been proven in the same way. Hence this discussion.
This is the point of this exercise. But so far, no one - not a single person who talks about germ theory - has provided a satisfactory explanation of why when one person in the family comes down with flu like symptoms, or sore throat, cough like symptoms, there is a high chance of others catching it a day or two later.
No, we dont use any chemicals inside the house. We didn't use any food that is outside ordinary. No take aways, cooking usual kind of food we always cook. No, it is not food poisoning, I have had that before and it does manifests very differently.
In both cases the only thing common was our son was exposed to cold the day before and was not properly rugged up. As for us, we were fine until a day or two later.
In both cases I will go further and say, it looks like we got infected only after we ate food that he shared. So I am not saying its spreading via air, its probably spreading via saliva, but still the terrain theory does not explain this.
I am open to all answers, as long as they at least explain my own personal observations.
This discussion is not about germ theory so you dont have to keep invoking it. Its about terrain theory, and if you are pushing it, you should be able to defend it, and at the minimum, satisfactorily explain the basic human experience concerning what we call flu. I can see you want to disengage, thats okay. But you will hear the same questions even from the most open minded - especially from the open minded who want to understand the truth.
