Dean Devlin explains why 'The Ark' isn't 'woke' sci-fi: 'There's an attempt to politicize everything now'

Devlin says that his new Syfy series is the opposite of the "dark, edgy" shows that have been popular in recent years.

Dude, I'm just glad someone is taking the risk. No one can compete with The Expanse. Everyone else is giving in and giving up. Worth my 20 bucks.
