it took me 5 minutes to fact check this tweet. you’re spreading misinformation. first of all, the cdc released a DRAFT toxicology profile that’s open to public commentary for 90 days. this is a standard process they do every year starting in january.
since it is a draft, no changes are official. they published drafts profiles for 4 different chemicals this january, all of which had not been edited since before 2006 or earlier. last january they published 11 and they’re currently working on 12 to publish in the upcoming year.
second you claim they’ve increased the lethal exposure level from 100 ppm to 100,000 ppm but that’s also false. the (purposely) blurry screenshot you posted tells the real truth. which is that they report that exposures greater than 100,000ppm lead to death and organ failure.
