Was talking to a PE teacher with 20 years experience. She said the kids in middle school and up that did home/online school turned into bold faced liars. They gaslight their teachers now. she said she has never seen anything like it. Apparently one year of self education taught them to lie on the spot (internet not working, zoom not connecting etc.) and it has stuck. She wants to quit. Also boys are physically fighting now. Not sure what girls are doing but she said they responded differently. I think they are the blue hair androgynous or even trans but she didn’t say it. I’m in an upper middle class white community but she is convinced this is happening across the country.

Yea, F that. My son was in elementary school during the lockdowns. We're in a conservative part of the country, so everyone knew it was B.S. and would be harmful to the kids. So we and many others said F this. We treated it like it was summer break. Did not attend online classes, participate nor do any assignments. We also got his head out of the books and taught him some life skills like carpentry, cooking/BBQing, and money management.
