I had a stunning realization today. My grandfather and a few other very old people who seemed to last forever have died recently. But looking around, I realized I don't really see old people anymore, past about 70s. They used to be everywhere, cafes, streets, malls, just doing their thing, people watching, being old. But they just aren't around anymore.
Are they all terrified of COVID still? Did the vaccine kill them off? What is going on is it just me noticing this?
Come to the Atlantic provinces in Canada - they are all here lol.
My province, New Brunswick, has a noticeable amount of seniors compared to other age groups. All the young folks fled out west back in the late 1990s. There was an actual mass exodus from NB during this time period.
