I have said this to my dad for years. He is based as hell, but stil a bit stuck in the old Cold War mentality and thinks Putin is evil. Putin is no angel, but he is a traditional nationalist who does the best for his nation. He also does well out of it but that is how it has always been and I have no problem with that. Russia does not and should not be our enemy. We should have allied with Russia to face the common foe, China, and we could have avoided a distasterous war with them. As things stand, the idiots in power are detrermined to fight a united Russia-China alliance with plenty of support from all over the world. We have spent the past 3 decades weakening ourselves and creating and unting foes and now decide to throw our weight around recklessly! Total insanity!
