I've noticed a pattern that I hope I'm wrong about. Reading these pages at GAW, I am constantly looking for hope, some evidence of somebody doing something forward looking. I am not able to find it. I asked a question in another thread whether anybody on this planet is developing a trustworthy voting system. Crickets. One bot showed up and told me we have lost nothing, and losing the ability to have fair elections won't amount to anything. So far not a soul has contributed to that thread and provided any examples of voting systems being developed. That's the pattern. Complain all you want, wallow in the mud like a depressed pig, but don't you dare talk about anything that would change the status quo peacefully.
So talking about how bad things are is totally acceptable, but making any mention of peacefully changing that in any effective way is verboten. Change my mind.

Yes, I have done research on existing projects. I believe an auditable system, sufficiently transparent with a checksum blockchain based backup would be something we can trust.
I don't believe it's the job of GAW to create such a system, but it is our job to identify and promote anything that looks promising. We can make the critical difference by drawing attention to fundraising for such projects.

pretty much has been neutered from the start, what with federal services monitoring all the dot win communities. the violence thing is something most of us should consider when posting as anything that can be misconstrued or hinting towards violence, could be used against us, individually and as a community. I mention it more as a warning to others than yourself. would be interested in hearing more about your own internet projects.
You're wise my fren. If you think this site is not being monitored you'd be wrong. I would also suggest that the same people that monitor this site, make post specifically to see how this community reacts so they can further their analytical measurements to serve their purpose.
