Yeah...nope. Fuck that. If Congress, etc decides to allow this, then we need to get the gallows and guillotines ready.
I had a good, longtime friend ask me "at what point is enough, enough?" She's fairly Liberal, also a lawyer (not currently practicing). We don't usually talk about politics or religion. Just not our bag, and she's very guarded about what she puts out there over the networks, so the question caught me off guard, coming from her. And I was busy with work and had a time trying to switch gears. I told her I wasn't sure, but this mess can't go on for too much longer.
After seeing this, I'm wondering if this is the reason she asked. I think it's time we broach the political conversation topic. I'm curious as to why she asked me.
interesting. If a great awakening is to happen the left have a lot of walls built. Yet that doesn't mean anyone on the right side of politics do not have walls built too. I do not understand a lot of people that are political. Like why take the higher road to begin with? That was never a good idea. We have decades of issues from that one thing. Feelings do not matter when it comes to good and evil. We should learn individual insightfulness and respect for others. Maybe she is realizing this now? We are in a lot of this mess because of the enablers on the so called right--keep the peace, take the higher road. I am not bitter either. I have lost many over the years because I do not always take the higher road. It is their loss not mine. The only time politics works is if both sides are agreeable on a foundational principle of good and evil. Redefining evil as good and taking the higher road claiming they are going to learn... bad recipe. obviously.
