I am pretty thick headed but how were they set up? What happened? I am missing something.

I think there were some capitol police not in on the planning with Pelosi and didn't realize the feds would be in there instigating. The Capitol police were told to stand down. Then the feds tried to agitate the crowd. They were blindsided but probably saw exactly what was taking place. I think.

Capitol police were probably in on it, the 64 I believe were DC police, it said Metro police on their jackets.Makes sense what you said.
