The expectation of intervention in a war of human free wills seems very close to sacrilegious to me, as if there is an expectation that God take care of all of our problems for us. That's why I've never been a fan of "trust God", because we are meant to use our free will to enact good.

Quick elaboration: Not against "trust God", but rather "trust God...to fix everything and just watch it all happen"
