It actually tastes okay in Hawaii but for some reason it is skunky here. Maybe I've lived in the mountains for too long. It's certainly altitude based flavor in my opinion.

I'm a home brewer, I know exactly what you were getting at. I don't know if it's altitude, temperature or humidity... Heineken just tastes like shit in Colorado and is pretty decent in Hawaii.
