When I first bought this property about 25 years ago, there is a little house out back that an old man of the family who lived here before me lived in. My daughter who was about 13 at the time, cleaned out that little house and all we swept out was bottles of Kessler 'whiskey' I think it was. He must have been a drunk.
Oh, then you would LOVE the giant Woodpecker my husband came running inside to show me last summer. It was one of the largest woodpeckers I've ever seen.
Well if you saw this one, you would have been amazed. It is one of the largest ones I've ever seen. That's why my husband wanted me to see it because he thought I wouldn't believe him.

"Here’s a ‘Jewish geography’ sidelight that may amuse you. It took time to confirm that said Kessler was Jewish. Finally, one clue led to his NY Times wedding announcement. He wed PAULETTE STEINBERG (an attorney) in 1974. Her cousin, a rabbi, presided over the wedding. The couple had two children and, sadly, divorced sometime after 1997."
Isn't there a 'cheap' bourbon or whiskey called Kessler?
Don't know, because I am not a drinker. Howls.
