Hmm...well devices are clearly distinct from medicines per the regulating agencies - so I wouldn't think this would apply to medicine. Also, by banning off-label use, that can end up screwing the pharma companies as well, as many medications are used off-label by doctors, and in the end, help the pharma company. For example, anti-depressants are often used off-label for pain management - so if this is not allowed, then it could backfire on the pharma companies. JMHO.
