Matthew 8:5-13 uses the English word 'servant'. The original Greek is 'pais', which means 'servant' or 'slave' as opposed to 'a child, boy or girl'.
Why? Because In Matt. 8:9, we are provided a very good clue when the Centurian stated:
"For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it."
This most certainly sounds relevant to a good servant carrying out their duty. No where is there any indication of a sodomist here. The bible is very clear about sodomy. In fact, Jesus came to uphold God's law and sodomy is an abomination contrary to Nature.
