people will say "prove this person said this quote"

unless you can pin it down, for example in a book they wrote,

but even then, some might say, "prove this person actually wrote that book"

so the root of any quote is always suspect,

BUT the truth of any good quote, remains valid, regardless of who says it.

so, what we can do is just attribute quotes to "anonymous"...

and let them rise or fall on their own merits.
