WA state was also chasing me. They wanted data on “behavior health”. Needless to say I blocked their calls after each change of phone number. I also am also living out of state. Nomad life has its benefits.
If on your cell, answer the call and immediately push mute, then wait until they hang up. If it is legit call they will call right back with same id. If it is telemarketing, by answering they are graded by making a sale. If they don't after making a connection (answered call) they are docked.
on your landline, answer the call and then press zero over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...
That will mess up their automation maybe even glitch out their system. Especially if they call back. Could possibly get your number placed on their "do not call" list automatically because their computer will mark the call that it contacted a fax/computer..
Also you could record the FAX connection noise and play it to the call, that should make it mark you number as a fax/computer and they probably wont call back.
I can't wait until they call me.... I'm gonna tell them they need to look for a fucking real job and stop allowing the government to brainwash them.
I absolutely loved jacking around with the guys claiming to "know there is a virus on my computer and they needed to remotely log on to fix it"
Or the guys from the IRS or SS admin claiming I had a lien against me.
I say bring it on.... Fuck with them all you can....
I have 2 hard & fast rules for phone calls...
If I don't know the number, I NEVER answer the phone.
If you call me and I don't know the number, you better leave a message or I'll block your number.
Man this must be a universal thing now! I developed this technique in the early 2000s and it has really cleared up a lot of stress in my life!
You never know when you are being phished so don’t participate! Easy fix

Don't answer. They'll stop sooner than later
