Montana appears to be more red than South Dakota.

One of the bills regarding the issue was tabled here while another is awaiting a hearing in the house https://www.argusleader.com/story/news/education/2023/02/13/anti-drag-bills-see-one-success-one-failure-in-sd-house-committee/69899342007/
