That's a nice pair of rides. I've got a tricked out S-class Audi, a Ducati and a BMW motorcycle. Then the regular vehicles - Ram and couple of VW SUVs. I really want a muscle car. I'm tempted on a Challenger Hellcat for pure performance. But I really would like to get a late 60' Mopar something - RoadRunner being closest to the budget. I'm inclined towards something built already as I don't have the time to build something right now.
What kind of BMW? I was close to buying a S1000RR in 2015. I have a '20 Triumph Tiger 1200 and a '71 Tiger 650 now.
I was very close to buying a '16 Challenger Hellcat last month. Wife told me I needed to pay off my '16 Ram 1500 first. I hope I can get one for a good price, because I firmly believe they have hit the bottom and will only go up in value.
Kinda like I when I found a '06 Viper for $25k and I told everyone that would be a $60k car in ten years. Well... it took 8 years and I never saw such a great deal again.
R1200RT. The S1000RR is bad ass. A lot of bike. It hurts to fold myself up like that these days. I've got an '18 Ram 1500 - blacked out and capped. Looks like 5-0 rolling up. Should've bought that Viper for 25k if it was good to go or needed minor work. I think the Hellcats will be good investments.
Nice choice of bikes.
Let me tell you brother, that '06 viper was MINT!!! Only 21k miles. Epic amount of torque.
Got a '14 Ram 2wd instead; get a practical vehicle they said. What a waste of money. Traded it 2 years later for the '16 1500 4wd Laramie. I was driving a '02 Ram 2500 ST 4wd v10 manual on 37s getting 8mpg. Still have it too, as my hunting & 'redneck towing rig.' I take it where I don't want to take the fancy truck.
The RT is a great bike. The sound system sucks, but everything else is great. I can lift the front in 3rd gear, hit 100 in about 5 seconds, and still do 600 mi in a day on it with bags. It just does everything well, not great, but well. The Duc 696 is analog. Noisy, twitchy, lots of fun. May pick up a 916 one day. Also want a MV Agusta F4. God forbid I win the lottery....my wife has a phrase for that.
My 1500 has been solid and definitely gets worked pulling small trailers, off road, moving boxes, lumber, whatever. Best mod was putting BF Goodrich tires on it. Never got stuck.
Maybe one of these days I'll acquire a Unimog.
