I didn’t realize he was charged with lying to Congress and involved with Iran-Contra. Apparently George senior pardoned him.
He held the positions of Director of Congressional Affairs and Deputy Director of Operations. He held the “top spy” role for a time.
He apparently took his forced resignation over Iran Contra poorly, and started working with Ringling after he was shoved out of the CIA.
