Learn to garden. You don't need much space at all. Consider a Back to Eden garden (no till, no toil). Learn to hunt although I don't think that I'd eat anything local for a while. Get a freeze dryer or a big freezer and load it up with proteins. If you've got the space, raise some chickens and a turkey or two.

God only knows how far and wide those toxins spread through the air and the water. Wendy Bell Radio had a video of a guy at the Beaver River where it flows in to the Ohio River and said there were three unscathed dead deer in the area and the blackbirds won't touch them. That's some pretty scary crap if the blackbirds won't touch them.
