Didn't this happen because Koresh and his group witnessed drugs being brought in by the government on a local airstrip under Clinton? I don't know but this is one of the theories I heard years later.

Could be. Back then, we didn't have any alternative news sources so we pretty much believed whatever they told us. This is when that started to end and people started investigating.
